with the December kit, of course!
This kit is like magic! It is sssoooooo easy to work with it!
And I love the two layouts I did with it!
More layouts will be done for sure!
Aren't the kits fabulous?! Lately, I often cropped with lots of people and as I was working with some past or current Crop Suey kits, people that see them are amazed by their beauty!
Aren't you excited to finally see the December kits on Monday? Personnally, I can't wait to see the first one. Looks great!
I think I'll be back tomorrow with some sneak peeks of my two layouts! What do you think?

Happy Day before Thanksgiving!!
At least it is here in the U.S....:)
I have been running around trying to get all of my pre-holiday prepping done and I am ready to relax. We are going to my mom's ranch tomorrow and we always have a great time. My hubby and the kids are staying through Sunday so I will have tons of time to get my Christmas preparations underway. I bought some pretty new fabric and I am going to attempt to make stockings. Let's hope for the best....:)
Anyways, I haven't had a ton of scrapping time this past week but I promise I will have tons to share next week. I got my December Crop Suey kit in the mail yesterday....I wonder which one it is. You'll have to wait until next Wednesday to find out.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

Fun With Cards...
Hey there fellow Crop Suey fans! Michelle here and it's Tuesday again! (Nothing like stating the obvious) :0) I love Tuesdays because it means I get to share another kit project with you! This week I made two more notecards with Bree's November Strawberry Cream Gelato kit:The first one is this fawn card. Some layering, inking and doodling here. I just love that chipboard fawn! Everything is from the kit except the newsprint flower, which I had leftover from my September "Over the Rainbow" kit.
With my second card I had some fun with the little gnome stamp that comes with the Strawberry Cream Gelato kit - isn't he adorable? I punched a hole in the front of the card, and then stamped him through the hole onto the inside of the card, and colored him in with colored pencils. Last week I used the Prima flower packaging as a stencil on my bunny card, and this week I used the leftover inked-up stencil on this card - it was too pretty to throw away! The double-sided patterned paper in this kit is perfect for cards because the inside is just as beautiful as the outside!
That, along with the bunny card I showed you last week, completes my set of three notecards. I hope you like them! I had a lot of fun making them with my awesome November kit - which I don't mind telling you STILL has a ton of stuff left in it!!! I will share a secret with you - If you like these cards, stay tuned to Scrapping The Music in December, because I am donating all three of them as part of a holiday RAK we are having over there! I can't say exactly when....shhhh....
Til next Tuesday my friends - take care and happy scrapping!

Life's crazy!
Life's crazy right now for me!
I don't have a minute for me these days... not even to play with my November Crop Suey kit that is still full of stuff, even after four layouts!
My new love these days is... Ink! I want to spray ink everywhere!
I've done this layout *I cannot share right now* on which I sprayed ink over a tree branch! It's awesome! Can't wait to share it with you guys!
And I can't wait to receive my Dec Kit. I bet it's going to be awesome!
Have a great week-end and sorry for the late posting...

Somethin' a little vintage/heritage for ya!
Hey there girls! Hope everyone's doing great today, I know I am. (The kids are finally napping! hehe!) But seriously, the weather's great outside, I was able to pick up lots of goodies at Ms for $1 ea, and I get to share one of my fave LOs with ya! What could be better than that?! (Well, maybe a nap, but I bet I can still squeeze that one in!)
So here's another one of my LOs using Camille's Nov. Cream 'n Sugar kit. For some reason, I got all nostalgic on this one. I had some photos of my grandparents sitting around and I was inspired to do something with the vintage postcards that came in the kit. So I put 2 and 2 together, and this is what I got. A LO that shows my grandparents through the years.
"remember the good times"
I love it, but that may be that I love THEM so much! They've both had a special influence on my life. Anywho, I also used the Riff Raff chipboard, dry-brushed it with paint. Oh my word I LOVE that chipboard! It's got such a unique quality to it, like it's a die-cut or laser cut, but then it's chipboard too. And it lends itself to so many different techniques! I love playing with it! So Bree, Camille, y'all keep packing my kits with those little babies! They're so fantastic!
Hope you ladies have a great day! And don't forget to see the post below by Bree about the special happenin's coming up! I can't wait to see myself! :D
Bye y'all! :D

Happy Wednesday!
Hey everyone. Today has been a busy day and I finally have about five minutes before I have to go pick up my so from preschool.
I am super excited for tomorrow because my sil and bestie are coming over for a night of Christmas project crafting. I have a really fun idea but I have to see if I can make it happen. If I can I should have some fun pics to show you next week.
Other than that, I only managed to get a few pages scrapped this week. Here's one I put together using the November Crop Suey kit. I added some of my own things in, including this fab new deco tape that I got designed by Shinzi Katoh. I got four different rolls. Some of which is ALice in Wonderland themed....so fun!!
Anyways, here's what I came up with....
Hope you have a good day!!

Gratefulness and Greetings!
Good morning and Happy Tuesday! It's Michelle here again, with a couple of projects I'm excited to share! I've been having fun playing with my Strawberry Cream Gelato kit again, and I have to say I really love how whimsical it is! It just makes me happy!
Okay, the first project is a layout I created for the current challenge over at the Dreamgirls Blog. The challenge was to scrap something you are grateful for, and you had to use a mask, and something metal. I am SO grateful for my sweet hubby Michael! Here's what I came up with:I did the masking by handcutting three hearts from plain cardstock; laying them down on the green paper, and coloring around the edges with oil crayons. Then I blended the edges outward BEFORE picking up the masks. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE oil crayons?!!! The colors are so intense, and they make me feel like a kid again! If you haven't gotten any out lately, I highly recommend it! Anyway, after I was done masking, I doodled around the inside of the hearts with a white Souffle pen. The required metal comes from the brad inside the red prima flower. Everything is from the kit except for the "4" which is a thickers I had in my stash. The word "you" is hand drawn and cut from patterned paper in the kit.
My second project is a notecard. Everything for this card is also in the kit, except for the black and white gingham ribbon, and the green paint behind the "hi." The flourish in the upper right corner was made by using the prima flower packaging as a stencil with some brown ink.I hope you like the projects! Remember, you can always click on the images to make them bigger and see more of the details.
I hope you have a lovely day! I wish for you smiles, sunshine and scrappiness! Take care everyone and I will see you next Tuesday!

The second layout was so fun to make. I love this graph paper so much... and it comes from Camille's kit!!!

I've also worked on a Christmas ornament made with products from the kit, but it's not quite what I wanted. I'll work more on it and share it later.

Home
There's nothing quite like home. And while I LOVE to travel, visit family and friends, and just run errands out and about, I always love to come home. There's just something about it that's warm and comforting, peaceful. Camille's Cream 'n Sugar kit seemed just right to help me document all my feelings about our home. Call me sappy, but I'm sure years from now when we've moved, or outgrown our little house, I'll still remember that this is the place that we first called home. It's our haven and our safe place. And the colors in the picture just happen to go perfectly with the Dream Street papers and fun ribbons in the kit.
*the background paper is more Dream Street that I had in my stash.

Hey there...
I hope everyone is having a fabulous Wednesday. I have been going non-stop today. After my daughter and I dropped my son off at school, we went to the bank, the chiropractor, Office Depot, her dance class and to the grocery store. I was hoping to have a bit of time to scrap today but no such luck. I don't have anything going on for tomorrow so I hope I will get some time in the afternoon.
The only page I have scrapped this week is one I did for Bree's fun new challenge blog, Scrapping Across the Universe.
I decided it would be fun to scrap my senior prom photo. The journaling is hidden underneath the bit of fabric.
I hope everyone is having a great week and s getting geared up for the holidays. I have already begun my Christmas shopping and have my kids outfits all ready for our Christmas card pictures. This is such a fun and festive time of year.....:)

Today is a Playday...
Hello everyone! Michelle here! I hope your Tuesday is going well so far! I have the day off of work, and I am home playing with my Crop Suey kit! Here's a layout I made to celebrate our son Stevie's 17th birthday! I love that this kit came with some beautiful bazzill solid color cardstock, and the patterned paper has so many elements that can be cut out and layered! The colors in the kit were perfect for my photo of Stevie blowing out his birthday candles!
I layered two of the die-cut paper edges and topped them with the chocolate pom pom trim
I added a few little embellies from my stash. I love the look of the brown patterned Sassafrass paper - doesn't it look like cordurouy? Perfect for a young-man page!
I hope you are enjoying your kits - I'd still love to see what you are creating with them! I hope you will link us up!
Have a great day my friends! I will be back next Tuesday with more creations to share - see you then!

No pics yet!
Ok, so I had the most amazing weekend!
I was HERE, hanging out with Crop Chick Deanna!
And, I spent time with my Cream and Sugar Kit! I already made the one layout, but I was using almost all of the other papers, to make a little mini album with the coasters in the kit!
I had so much fun with this kit!
But, I did not get it completely finished. I have one more little thing to do, and then take pics of it!
I will say, that I only got about 6 hours sleep all weekend, so when I sat down to work on it today, my eyes felt crossed! So, I decided to wait, and I will work on it tomorrow!
I will post pics soon, but for now........I've gotta get some sleep!

2 layouts!
Well, well. Kim here. Sorry for the two last posts that were short and not telling much. These two past weeks have been crazy.
I'll show today two layouts I did using the Cream and Sugar Kit.
The first one I did, once again, matches Félix's T-Shirt.
I added Glossy Accent on the flowers.
I also used a technique shown by Mariemily. On little circles of paper, I added some Stickles and then, some Glossy Accent. The result is AMAZING!!!
My second layout, using the Word Stickers. Not really the type of products I regularly use, but it just matched the theme of the photo so well! I love it!

Have a great day!
By the way, did you see the new add-on kits? These are just so great!!!

Home away from home
Hi girls! Crop Chick Deanna here and I'm coming to you from my hometown in Alabama. I'm here for a HUGE weekend of cropping, and I'll actually be hanging out with Crop Chick Britney quite a bit this weekend! We're both here working and participating in crop our LSS is putting on, and I'm so excited! I hope to get a some work done, and some chatting too! Usually I do more chatting that working, but isn't that what it's all about too? I mean, who else would understand when you say, "Woohoo! I just grabbed the last of theJB bingo cards and some Sass stickers on sale too!" I mean, you can only say those kinds of things to the girls who speak the language! kwim? hehe! Anyway, I'm here, (away from my computer) and I've brought along my Cream and Sugar kit to work on. It's sooo beautiful! I can't wait to show it off tomorrow, and tell all my friends! ;) Hopefully by this time next week I'll have lots of LOs to share, and maybe a good story or two too! Chat with you girls later!

Altered Book Love...
Hello everyone and welcome to November! This is Michelle and I'm so excited that the new kits are out! I've been playing with my "Strawberry Cream Gelato" kit, and I want to share with you what I've made! I took Martha Bonneau's Altered Book Class with Bree - and boy was that fun! I made myself an art journal with the kit and here's how it turned out:
The class called for cupcake liners which just HAPPENED to come with the kit! How fabulous is that! We used them to make divider tabs!
For the title page, I cut a piece of a sheer plastic paper storage folder (you know those kind that are shaped like an envelope and fit 12 x 12 paper?) to fit the page, and stamped one of the cute little gnomes with stazon ink,
added an envelope to tuck some secret journaling in,
The vintage-style animal cards were included with the class.
A little more tulle along with patterned and plain cardstock from the kit,
Here I added a tiny envelope to tuck some ephemera, plus more kit paper,
another plastic overlay which I just drew a cloud on with a sharpie,
and that's it! It was a wonderful class full of good ideas, and combined with the ADORABLE papers and embellies that come with this month's Strawberry Cream Gelato kit I really love how it turned out!
I can't wait to start filling it up!
