And the Winners are......
I think 2 different kits with 2 different styles would be awesome then a again a mixed kit with 2 different personalities would be awesome too.-that is what makes scrapbooking fun.-ok-I so didn't help here-but your get the picture-don't cha!?!?!? yay! I'm first! glad you had a great time!!! omg, bree, I had NO idea you were making kits!!! Thant's so cool, and I am super psyched because I love your style! Fun stuff--can't WAIT to see what you put together!! Hey ladies! I'm so glad to hear you both had a great time at CHA and loved so much stuff! I think the idea of a kit for each (Camille & Bree)is wonderful. Cuz really, not everyone does have the same tastes, so maybe I would like one but another scrapper would like the other kit. So why not?! July 28, 2008 9:09 AM AND AS A BONUS..... I am also giving away a special treat to Because Camille and I shouldn't play favorites. ( or me since I had to do all the picking.. thanks Camille.....) You were right Wendy. We'll try and be more random. I just like to try and make you girls work for it. It makes it more fun, for me anyways.....tee hee I love the humor and the amazing feedback. We ACTUALLY read EVERY single comment and take ALL feedback into consideration. Without you there would be no CROP SUEY, and then Bree would be sad, and maybe cry, or just wither away... BOO HOO! That would be a shame so keep posting girls. WE NEED YOU! THANKS EVERYONE FOR PLAYING, AND STAY TUNED FOR MORE GIVE-AWAYS THIS MONTH! And winners send us your info to shopcropsuey@gmail.com Bree SEE YOU TOMORROW.... I think I'm gonna have to post some sneaky peek pics .

To be a good, new club you need a twist on kits-bring both of your styles into it. Give us kit lovers something we can't get anywhere else. A good kit get is based on style (both kit wise and design team wise)
I'm really excited to see what is up your selves-specially with the vintage finds!

Oh, and here's a fun little scrapper joke for ya.:)
A Scrapaholic's Confession
Author: K Haynes
(Note: CHAOS = Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome)
Bless me, Scrap Fairy, for I have sinned, I know that's hard to believe; But it's not my fault, I'm a victim, you see, Of a sickness, a curse, a disease...
They say that confession is good for the soul, But I'm not convinced that that's true. So I'll tell you my faults and shortcomings, And I'll leave the decision to you.
That scrapbooking thing has got me for sure; I start with the best of intentions! Just let me check the CK website-- Oh look! A list of conventions!
Snacking is good to help with my scrappin' Though I tend to overindulge. Cakes and cookies and chocolates galore! My bulges are starting to bulge!
Oh my! How I buy the things I don't need Eyelets and ribbons and vellums. If anyone asks, "I've had it for years!" At least, that's what I tell 'em!
A scrap room? What's that? Stuff's all over the house I suffer from *CHAOS,* you know, No one comes, no one visits, except UPS He's my very best friend, that Joe!
Buy now! It's on sale! They won't have it again! The gadgets, the papers, the glues Look at the money that I can save! How can I possibly lose???
Organization is an area where I am certainly lacking I need help with that, others say But how can I do it? I've got things to do! How can I waste a whole day?
So here I sit amongst all of my clutter Housekeeping's a thing of the past Dusting and vacuuming and tidying up What's the point??? It just doesn't last!
I have too many ideas and not enough time They say that denial is rough I have it...I know it....can't find it.... Oh well....I'll just buy some more stuff.
I know that they pay me to do a good job But this 8 to 5 job gets so stressful I need a vacation...I need to relax... And then I will be more successful!
I spend time at work doing scrapbooking things I search for a phrase or a verse The perfect layout is all that I need My addiction is more like a curse!
I tell my husband that if I should die The best thing for him to do Is to have a garage or a fire sale And be sure to include all of Y-O-U!
I guess I'm a sinner, so give me my penance And hurry! Send me on my way! I've a 40% coupon right here in my purse Oh my gosh....it expires today!

is it Wed already?!?!?!?!
I love reading your comments. To have you girls "growling" at us made me laugh out loud when I read it. Also, I love this comment:
P to the A to the T to the T to the Y said... I cant take the suspense, I was never good at waiting.
I used to unwrap christmas presents and re wrap them when I was younger.
First of all, that's so wrong! Do you know how much time your parents spent trying to keep those presents a surprise! That's REALLY not being able to take the suspense!!! I guess just shaking the boxes didn't give you enough satisfaction!I've made a decision about Bree's post on Sunday! The decision is that you will have to wait for Bree to decide who is getting what (because I cannot possibly decide). So, when I post this, I will give her a call and let give her the news. She will definitely be posting tomorrow, but may decide that she cannot wait to give the stuff away and make a post later today! SORRY, I REALLY cannot decide... (maybe it's because I'm pretty tired right now)
We've been pretty busy with getting kits prepared, but mostly reviewing all the DT applications. WOW, you are a bunch of really talented women out there. How are we supposed to choose a handful out of a "boatload" of people. We are still getting new applications and that just makes the decision even more difficult. When we reveal the winners, we will also post the runners up, you need to know has not been easy. There is TONS O' Talent out there and we are truly grateful that you want to be a part of our team!
So now, one more pic from CHA. I had the chance to meet Courtney Walsh (author of Scrapbooking your Faith and a contributing editor with Memory Makers) and had my pic taken with her. You can tell that I'm smitten, my face is beaming. Oh well, it's the "first time with someone important" syndrome!!! It's only me, not Bree....but someone had to take the pic!
Well ladies...awesome ladies, keep reading this week because it's going to end with a bang. Wednesday (my mom used to call it HUMP DAY) is here already, Saturday will be upon us before we know it. I am already getting giddy with excitement at the "short list" that I've already made (if you keep sending DT appys in I will be happy to rewrite my "short list")
Until then,
Camille

it's all for you (yes, you staring at the screen)!
Ok, so I'm beginning with a few comments for you girls, ladies, awesome women out there! First of all (it's Camille here!), I love reading your posts. I always sneak down to my studio when I get a moment to read any new comments. Whenever I sneak down I can hear my son upstairs saying "Dad, where's mom? Do you know? Is she working AGAIN?" and when I come upstairs (after my brief 10 minute retreat, my son says "Mom I missed you SOOOOO much, I thought you went to Chicago again!!!" This makes me laugh because, in an odd little way I was in my own Chicago-CHA!!!
I'm digressing (which I tend to do alot -I love tangents!) Thank you to "marcie" for your comment. I am all over the map when it comes to conversation; which is why I have learned to hold my tongue when I know that I have a million things on my mind...what could come out may be dangerous and not understandable. Also, to "Kimmys" -I totally hear you on the Bampop...but there is a home for that product (it's just not mine). And "sheryl" thanks for the compliments. Actually, your comments have really added to my days. I was not huge into blogging before we started CROP SUEY...now I feel I have so many awesome friends. I really should have listened to Bree when she said it was truly addictive so many months ago... Bree -thank you!
Anyhow, this post was for YOU (sounds like a bad imitation of a Budweiser commercial). Thanks for being supportive and helping us to mold our kits to better suit you. Because really, let's face it...we're doing this to make you happy. I love making people happy (and I say that sincerely).
As an aside, Bree and I will now be taking turns posting. So you will see more banter going back and forth between the two of us...love y'all.

oooooh, I love it all....
I've decided that it's going to be impossible to fit all the product I want into the premier kit! I could try and put a little of everything (but I know that wouldn't be wise). So, I've decided to plan ahead. Now that's thinking!!!! If I spend much more time doing this I will have all the kits planned out for the next couple of years (yes, there are that many cool products that I absolutely love).
Now that my studio is organized and I can find my workspace I am hoping to get creative again. Bree and I are planning to get scrappin' soon and so we'll post some of our creations. It will be nice to see what y'all think of what happens when our "creative juices" flow.
By the way, the zoo was awesome yesterday. We completely exhausted the kids and, as a result, they are still sleeping. Yesterday was one of those days that just flowed...it was great!

Well I'll leave #1 comment to get the ball going :-).
I can't wait to see all the fun stuff you saw...sigh...I love CHA time!
Sounds like you both had a great time and hopefully Bree will get lots of rest :) - July 20, 2008 8:55 PM
Bree is now home, she called me when she got in last night. After being gone for more than a week, the (almost) first thing she does is call me...I feel so special. It's funny how much we are alike, I would do the same thing! So now the work begins, we are going to be busy this week. Look for the website to be up and running soon. It's in the works and I am anxious to see the final product.
My husband is taking a day off today and we are going to the zoo with the fam...the kids will be sleeping well tonight!!!! Have a great weekend and do something fun with your family today (it doesn't have to cost money...just time!)

A surprise twist...
Ok, so one of the comments yesterday was to give something away to someone other than the 51st comment. I am running with that idea and giving it my own twist.
We are going to add a second winner to whoever comments on "We're back from CHA". Then when we reach the 51st comment, I will post the winner and a second person who will also be getting something (kinda like "Live with Regis and Kelly" when someone from the audience randomly wins.) So, don't despair, we are getting so close and I look forward to posting the winners tomorrow (or sooner).
Enjoy your day, Bree is home tomorrow and so you will be hearing from her soon too. I'm going out and spending a morning with my kids!

Organizing and Choosing
Here's a little something, for teasers. It's stuff that we've begun collecting. Some pics of the vintage stuff will follow later.

The part I am really looking forward to is ordering the new stuff! Shopping, shopping, shopping, then sending it to all of you...I am really looking forward Bree coming home. For now, I'm organizing, but soon I will be organized and ready to move onto the next thing on the list....
Keep sending in your posts, I look forward to sending out our RAK!

We're back from CHA!
...I could post some of my pics, but you would only get some attempted "cool" pics of my feet (...which really isn't so cool!)
After having met and strategized we have so many amazing directions that the kit club is going to take and we think you are really going to like it.
We are going to send a gift to the person who leaves the 51st comment on this post. There's only one rule, you cannot send in 50 comments prior to being the 51st comment. So, go tell your girlfriends...tell anyone to come read our blog and leave a comment. The gift will be revealed once the 51st comment is left. I hope to have to send out the package tomorrow!
Stay posted for daily updates of our CHA trip. Until then...

WHEN THE CAT'S AWAY...
An occasional project kit would be great (mini-books, banners, etc.). I can't get enough of project kits, and nobody really seems to have them very often anymore.
EMAIL me at shopsropsuey@gmail.com with your info and I will send it off to you asap.
Thanks for the all the LUB!
