CROP SUEY IS LOOKING FOR A NEW DESIGN TEAM!

Crop Suey is an online Kit club that is drastically changing its direction. We are

becoming a NEW challenge blog. We are looking for some fresh, hip, and fabulous

Designers for our team. We will be adding 4 Designers to our Team. WE WANT

YOU!

Design Team Responsibilities:

Design a project based on the challenge every week. This may be a layout, card,

canvas, ATC, altered project...whatever the challenge inspires you to create.

Must keep a personal blog that you post regularly on. And you must post your

completed project on your blog, weekly.

Must be diligent in leaving comments for participants .

Great on your Scrap Resume.

General Info:

We are going LIVE Jan 1, 2010

That means our first challenge will be posted on that date!

We will be accepting submissions until Dec 11th.

We will be contacting Designers by Dec. 14th,

at which time you will receive access to our Design Team yahoo group

where all challenges and information will be available.

The Design Team Announcement will post Dec. 15th 2009 on the blog.

We're Baaaack!

After a 3 week vacation, and the the H1N1 flu...

We're back on track...

So here;s Technique Tuesday for you guys.

And did you see the announcement over at Scrapbook calls?

Technique Tuesday -Button Series week 4

It's the 15th and we start now...

Ok, so I'll begin by saying that Bree is still on holidays and she is (admittedly the most creative of the two of us).

Well, let me explain...

She is VERY outside of the box. Bree is amazing at coming up with original ideas. Bree is a natural at seeing something for what it could become with a little touch from Bree.
Bree can make almost anything look AMAZING!

I, on the other hand, am VERY INSIDE of the box. I am deliberate...it took me awhile to use Glimmer Mist because I had to let go of the fact that you cannot control where we every splat of ink falls! I am slow to try things because they are "unknowns" and I like clean lines (I like randomness restrained by hidden patterns!)

So, here I am sending out our first challenge to you while Bree is still on holidays...

HERE IT IS:

Make a Card or Layout using a mask as a background...
AND...
DO NOT use any scissors or paper trimmers to complete your creation.

Hopefully you will try this and play along!

Then come and check us out before the 1st to see what I came up with for the challenge. Bree will play along too if she can adjust to the cold weather here in Alberta after her long jaunt to the tropics...not sure how long she will be in shock once she lands!!!
