Technique Tuesday!

Today, I'm going to share a little something that started at a Cosmo Cricket make and take.
We're going to make paper flowers and add a little dimension to your page by curling your paper.

Here's what you'll need.
Take your choice of papers, cut them into strips.
Take your scissors and fray the edge, then take a skewer and use it to help you curl up the ends of the paper (on one side only, as the next sheet will cover the "uncurled" side).
Set the strips aside.

Now for the flower. Punch out 8 flowers, 4 ea of two sizes. Ink around the edges.
Then take the flowers, fold in half and staple the center.
Once stapled, layer the flowers on top of each other (bigger flowers on the bottom) -adhere while layering them up.
Then take the strips and flower and adhere them to your page. You can also add some strips of ribbons to add texture to your LO.
Easy peasy right? I thought it was a simple idea that could make a nice LO in a short amount of time.
Give it a try! We would love to see what you make with these techniques. Send us your creations and we may post them on our blog. Give it a try...and have some fun!
