I love the bangles...that gets me thinking!

I don't know how to top Bree's tutorial yesterday. She rocked it and I love the bangles!

NEW TUTORIAL

So I finished up a little tutorial yesterday

 to keep you guys busy while we wait for the big reveal on Monday!

Thank goodness time only moves forward. I am anticipating and anticipating...watching the clock ticking!

Anyhow, it was my anniversary last night, that's why I'm a little later posting this morning (we tried to sleep in a little)!

Bree is coming over this morning and we are putting finishing touches on things and she is bringing her video camera -she's got an idea for a video...
When Bree's creative juices get flowing something great always comes out of it. I am REALLY looking forward to it!

Quickie Post

So I've been SLAVING the kits and wouldn't you know it,

I threw my back out.

It's all Camille's fault.

She is such a slave driver.

(Ok, not really, but it is out and I can barely sit to write this post)

So Camille and I are getting together tomorrow

to wrap up the little things for the big reveal on Monday.

I've picked out my vintage goodies,

made you guys some fabulous handmade items,

and now all we have to do is wait!

I'm not a patient girl.

I hate waiting.

So we will be making another video for you this week,

Only 6 days to go...

Wow...it's getting so close I can hardly wait (insert giggles of anticipation HERE!)

It's hard to believe that in one short week, our KITS will be on our website for you to see.

Bree is now back from the weekend, she hopefully had some great family time. I am sure you will find a post on her blog about her weekend. We only have 1 or 2 loose ends to tie up and the preparation is complete.

I'm feeling a the anticipation building. It's like the bear in the picture...should I jump?


Not knowing what's at the bottom of the fall is always a little scary!! There could be rocks...

BUT there are probably TONS OF FISH too!!!!! I know there will be fish

Twas the night before Christmas, not a creature was stirring...

...because they were all at Crop Suey waiting for the kit reveal!

So Bree is gone to Calgary for the weekend. I'm at home...so you've got me to listen to again today!!

I've been thinking back and going through some pics. I have to share these two with you. When Bree and I got together to do our video tutorial about the sticker organizer, we had a funny moment (actually several funny moments)!

Once we were done making our sticker organizer, Bree told me to get my packages of stickers and we would hang them all up. I wanted my organizer to look like Bree's (it was so full and there was so much to choose from.)



So I ran downstairs and got ALL of my stickers etc that were still in packages. We took them and hung them up and then...(well actually the final result was pretty sad)

Well, see for yourself...


I wanted so much for it to be full! Now I am on a mission to fill it up. You will have to stay tuned for the pics when I actually have a fuller and more fulfilling organizer! Give me about a month!

So look for the website next week. Then we will REVEAL our KITS on 1 SEPTEMBER!

Only 8 days to the BIG day!! Persevere ladies...

It will all be worth the wait! I know that Bree and I are busting at the seams wanting to tell you.

WE are exercising extreme discipline (well, mostly...ok, not so much...but last week's peaks are probably enough to keep you on the edge of your seat for the rest of the ride!)

Putting some things away...Taking the good stuff out!!

Every day it's hitting me that 31 August is just around the corner. That has an impact in several ways. First that means that the Alberta summers are close to an end.

It means that school is starting up again (so is the taxi service)

It means that my barefeet have to soon get tucked into socks and that my tank tops become a layer under another shirt.

BUT mostly it means... OUR KITS ARE COMING!!!!!

Wow, looking at it that way, I say BRING ON SEPTEMBER!!!!

I've looked at your submissions for my challenge and I really like what I see. Last night Bree was supposed to be working on a page too. I will be working on mine tonight and tomorrow. I really have to think about this one (and to choose my title carefully).

I didn't get the green light...

Bree and I spent the whole morning going through product...we have so much to get out to you.

She wouldn't let me post pics, but she gave me permission to send out a veiled riddle. If you can figure it out, you will know some of the manufacturers in our kits. (ok, so my first mistake about the peaks was asking Bree's permission to post pics -she also didn't bring the "good" camera to take the pics with!)

Ok, so here's my riddles (they may be cheesy, but I'm wingin' it):

It's in the bag...or is it out of the bag?

Bree is on her way over here (yet again) and we have some work to do (that's generalizing for sure). We had two HUGE packages arrive on Wednesday that Bree promised not to open. She did pretty good only opening one of them because she couldn't stand the excitement any longer!!!
Now, she is en-route with the opened and unopened packages!

I am really going to have a hard time not posting any peaks after all the boxes are opened today -but (as you know) I have INCREDIBLE restrain...well...when it comes to certain things. Bree is still reeling from the duct tape!!! However, it must have worked somewhat because she didn't post before me today (that 1 for Camille and 0 for Bree....well, that's not entirely accurate, but sounds really good right now...I had better hit "POST" before she walks through my door!!)

So, just remember....

2 WEEKS AND COUNTING

Can you believe it?

Only a little over 2 weeks until the big reveal.

Boy has time flown by.

It's amazing that this all started with a little idea,

and has grown into this amazing Project.

I'm thinking back on how this all started....

Hmmm. Camille, do you remember? 

Camille and I met through our Church.

We started swapping babysitting.

We both scrapbooked, of course.

We became fast friends.

We had this great idea for a book.

We did the book thing and pitched it to the Publishers.

Being entrepreneurial , we wanted more.

And WELCOME CROP SUEY!

That's the short and sweet version.

It's amazing how some things are just meant to be.

Our friendship is a complete balance.

I admire Camille for her strength, and stability.

She is an amazing woman , Mother, and Artist!.

She is a full of wisdom and creativity!

She is passionate and sincere!

She is grounded!

And let me tell you how much i need that,

(I'm a dreamer,  and a little whacky can't you tell?)

We are the perfect balance.

I am wondering where August has gone! I can hardly believe that it's the 11th already...ALREADY!!!
Bree has been tempting you so much and I'm wondering what's left to surprise you with? Well...there's tons left, but if we keep showing you there won't be any oooohs and aaaahhs when Sept 1 hits!
We loved your feedback on what products you like. I am happy to say that your answers were many of ours too...that means we're on the right track! As our orders keep arriving I am going to have to tied Bree to a chair to keep her from posting sneaks.

As for my trip, I survived three days with my sister, myself and 6 kids. It was tons of fun and we REALLY enjoyed our evenings (once the kids fell asleep!!!)
We stayed at a petting zoo type place and my kids loved it. It was hot, we had tons of water and shade and an air conditioned trailer!!

Now that we're back -it's back to the grind and I'm heading over to Bree's house now! We are so excited for the beginning of September!! It's going to be so much fun!

It's so exciting....

Almost everyday I am getting new packages arriving at my doorstep.

I look forward to seeing the Mail Girl, arms full of goodies, walking up my path..

one small blurb before I leave your for two days...

Well, I am going camping until Friday...myself, my two children, my sister and her 4 children. Not sure if I'm crazy, I'll let you know when (or if) we make it home!

Bree and I are keeping the "ball rolling" and slowly more goodies are arriving on our doorsteps. Bree will be posting some peaks tomorrow (that package was delivered to her house)!

As for us today, we are actually planning a quiet day. Bree is trying to spend the day scrappin' and making some cool new LOs. I am taking my life into my own hands and leaving town!!!

So, just a small note today. Watch for Bree's sneaks tomorrow!

Hey Ladies.

Camille and I have been extremely busy finishing up all the orders and finalizing our kits.

We are working late nights and early mornings.

But it has been a blast!

I have been visiting  the local Starbucks so often 

they have offered to power me via intravenous.. lol

Have i mentioned how much fun putting our own twist

 on the BREE and CAMILLE kits has been?

I'm so glad we chose to do 2.

Why?

Because I want them both.  lol

AND I am just dying to get my hands on all the goodies we have ordered.

All i can say is there is gonna be a little bit of this, and a little bit of that.

Another week, another adventure begins...

It's been a busy week and a busy weekend. We finalized one of our biggest orders and now, we sit anxiously waiting for the package to be delivered!
Bree and I are really looking forward to it's arrival!

This week, our website "builder" is back from holidays! I know what you're thinking; "He dared take holidays before the website was 100% done?"
We are really looking forward to the big REVEAL!
It's always one thing or another around here!

Just a quiet day on the horizon, I actually got to do a little something for myself last night! It's a long weekend here, so one more family day is left in my weekend. Have a great day ladies!

our minds are brewing...and our hands are busy....what a combination!

I really need a bigger cup of coffee than what I have in front of me. I am working on about 5 hours sleep, I really want to be sleeping right now, but there is too much to share with you!
I may get in trouble from Bree from spilling too much....
but it's all stuff you are going to know eventually!
Your suggestions for the DT name have been awesome. I was telling my husband about them last night and he was laughing at your creative genius (or maybe it was me trying to remember all of the them!)
The most popular suggestion was...drum roll please....

Well, Bree and I have been tossing the idea around and we are down to a couple.
We also really like CROP CHICKS (a slight deviation, still playing on words)

When the clock actually reads a decent time, I will sneak upstairs, feed my kids and then get into the car and make my way over to Bree's house (there also just happens to be a Starbucks on the way -YIPPPPEEEEEE!)
You have not made this process easy, actually you have kept me up many nights over the last month and I am happy to have done it!
So, we'll post our top 10, and if you do not see your name, know that the decision was not easy and that the DT is a 6-months stint!
